What is ‘fine art’ photography?

The answer seems to be ‘whatever you want (or don’t want) it to be. My definition is that fine art photographs are ‘made’ rather than ‘taken’. The photograph must have a message, and also, for me, have a certain quality of light which defines the subject in a way that emphasises form, line and texture.
